Lochlea Cask Strength Whisky, Batch 1, Lochlea Distillery, Lowland, Scotland

This is the first in an annual series of limited edition cask strength releases form Lochlea distillery. Batch number one highlights a combination of first-fill bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. The whisky features lovely aromas of fruits, cigars and coffee beans, with the palate displaying additional notes of Brazil nuts with orange syrup and oak shavings on the glorious finish.
