2020 Pinot Noir, Lyme Bay, Southern England

Lyme Bay Winery is full of people who are passionate about producing English Wines. Founded 25 years ago in Devon they have produced wines of outstading quality that have won awards from prestigious competitions including the International Wine and Spirit Competition, the Decanter World Wine Awards and many more.

This Pinot Noir shows the intensity of flavour enabled by long, hot summers in the West country. This wine is aged barrels for 9 months in 30% new oak which is a mix of American and Eastern European. Their award winning English red displays a complex and intense array of black cherries, raspberries and bramble fruit, underpinned by rich toasty oak and Tobacco characters.
