Aromas of white peach and melon, along with the more traditional nuances of citrus and tropical. There is also an intriguing 'funk' and lanolin note that brings all the aromas together and provide a wonderful transition through to the palate.
A fantastic lean yet supple long mid palate with chewy white blossom and a richness of character, almost salty. The wine is understated and has length and a mouthwatering succulence with wonderful persistence to it.

The story behind the wine explained by the family behind it........
"Winemakers naturally consider the terroir, grape quality and style of wine they hope to produce when considering the characteristics of a new wine.
For the Glover family, the approach for this label has been entirely different. With Bob /short for kate we've looked to produce a wine that characterises the honesty, purity and confidence of Kate Glover (aka 'Bob'), who passed away in 2018.
Bob /short for kate is an ode to Kate. A tribute to a truly genuine person, for whom honesty and purity came as second nature, who was conscious of living a healthy lifestyle, and who (along with being a Blackadder fan) lived for the theatre, for family and for great company.
Our organic Marlborough wines - small-batch Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc - are produced like no other; where the precious reputation and love of a treasured family member is reliant on exceptional fruit selection and winemaking crafted equally with uncompromising love by Marlborough winemaker and Kate's older brother, Ben.
Bob /short for kate is both organic and vegan, and pure to a tee. Just how Kate would love it. The result is a delicious wine that commands respect without seeking it. A wine that, as a character, bares its soul on stage with quiet pride and confidence, and nothing to hide.
Vineyard selection played a lead role in the creation of these wines, and Ben sourced fruit from selected organic blocks off the family's Marlborough vine yards that characterised his memories of growing up with Kate and her love of the family farm.
Simply put, this is Bob in a bottle."
