Intense aromatics of guava, lime and passion fruit. The palate is powerful with ripe tropical notes backed by a grassy, citrus zing.
Stoneburn is owned by Hunter’s Vineyard, but operated separately. The vineyard here is in an old riverbed whose stones retain warmth and give the fruit a high degree of ripeness. The Sauvignon benefits from this microclimate and delivers great expression of flavour at a very modest price.
Food recommendation - Spicy cous cous. Mild Indian and Thai dishes.
