Pacifico Sur is a range of estate-grown and bottled wines made by Tutunjian Estate Vineyards, a company that was started by Edward Tutunjian, an American businessman. They own some 200 hectares of vineyards divided across the Colchagua, Curico, Maule, Maipo and San Antonio valleys. Aided by Chile’s top winemaking consultant Alvaro Espinoza Pacifico Sur make some exceptional wines that offer great value.

The Carmenere has a complex aroma of red and black fruits that compliment the good body and fresh acidity. The palate is intense and long and delicious!

"Carmenère thrives in Chile and benefits from summer and autumn sun.. The nose has crushed green leaf excitement a touch of pepper on the fruit. Black fruits dominate a complex mix of black cherry, blackberry and fresher bilberry. The sweetness towards the back the rich mix gives way to leafy, spicy freshness with the flavours lingering. The richness makes it a perfect partner to beef and venison yet there is enough spicy freshness to cut through the richness of pork." Derek Smedley MW
