"I was also very impressed by the 2018 Eggo Franco, the only pure Cabernet Franc they produce (there will be some more, and they are planting some more for the future). The nose is subtle, spicy, herbal, floral and perfumed, and the flavors show pungent notes of freshly cracked black peppercorns and fine tannins and great balance. 5,200 bottles were filled after 11 months in concrete eggs (hence the name)."
