The vineyards of Parva Res are located on the hills east of Marsala at the border with Salemi and Mazara del Vallo. The soil is rich in limestone and the vineyards are at an altitude of up to 400 metres; variations between day and night time temperatures are quite high so grapes are able to achieve superb ripeness, whilst maintaining good acidity levels.
"This classic Sicilian grape has a mix of flavours bright black fruits at the start rich sweet in the middle ripe black cherry backed by dark chocolate, liquorice and coffee beans. Layers of flavour the bramble freshness underpinned by rich, ripe black fruits the finish has depth and chocolate richness. It suits beef perfect with steak and kidney and with venison."
