2014 Roserock Pinot Noir, Domaine Drouhin, Oregon, USA
2014 is already considered a classic Oregon vintage. A lovely, deep red color. The nose is floral, spicy and beautiful, with an intense, savory, character. On the palate, there are notes of dark berry preserves, a touch of caramel, black cherry, dried flowers, and tilled earth. There is clear structure and balance, with good mouth weight and a long finish.
“This is the first vintage of this wine. Shows intensity and balanced and beautiful fruit. Medium-to full-bodied, silky and beautiful. A really velvety and round texture to this. Drink or hold.” James Suckling, 94 Points
"Oregon is an important part of our lives, and has been since 1987, when our family established Domaine Drouhin Oregon. Our next chapter here is Roserock, an extraordinary vineyard that sits at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills, in the Willamette Valley." Domaine Drouhin
