2018 Devlin's Mount Chardonnay, South Australia
In the 1850s, Paddy Devlin ran a wine shanty. Peddling wine to weary cattlemen who passed through the vineyard property.
The vineyard remains today, replanted and rejuvenated.
"Depth of flavour the nose has a fruity mix the start of the palate the richness of Canteloupe melon and fleshy orange. Tangerine and lime underpin refreshing, balancing and giving complexity the back palate has depth the finish is racy and bright. The perfect glass to start the evening, does not overpower the lighter fish such as sole with a richness that suits fuller flavoured fish, poultry and pork." Derek Smedley MW
