Pale pink with a floral nose showing strawberry and peach notes. Creamy textured broad, yet bone dry with a lovely citric note on the finish.

Nestled In Cabasse in the heart of the Côtes de Provence, the vineyards have been here since Roman times. In the Gavoty family for more than 200 years, the estate is currently run by the eighth generation, Roselyne, who took charge of winemaking in 1985 and who farms the 43 hectares of vineyards organically.

Very few Provence estates have maintained family ownership for so long and every decision here is taken with respect for the sustainability of the land. Soils are limestone with some clay on the lower slopes and 150 hectares of the property is left fallow, mostly as woodland, to encourage biodiversity. Sheltered from the sea by the Maures Massif, winters here can be severe, -10°C is not uncommon, and whilst summer days can hit 40C, the nights are a relatively cool 15C, giving the wines great balance and poise.
